Let Me Start this Article with A very Interesting question Regarding Cigarette Smoking, which is.....

What is the Famous 'Myth' about Cigarette smoking in Our Society?

I wanted to dicuss how most Often..A common person having NO Smoking background, Starts smoking, in our society.Well...
He might be offered a Cigarette either by his friends or peers and asked to try one saying "Ik cigarette tou pi kar dekho, ik Cigarette peenay se kuch nahi hota", To which I'd like to respond that 'Only one cigarette can make you more prone to heart diseases than a Nonsmoker '.

Besides this, mostly 'sirf ik cigarette' is the starting point of almost majority of the chronic smokers in our society,
And ONCE... A person becomes a cigarette smoker, he is more liable to smoke other addictive toxic material too like 'Sheesha' etc or try out harmful drugs like heroine,cocaine etc.

COMPOSITION OF CIGARETTE

As We all know that Cigarette smoke contains carbon monoxide which is a very toxic n dangerous gas BUT....
Do you know that Cigarette smoke is a toxic mix of more than 7,000 chemicals??!!!

On inhalation, these chemicals can interfere with important processes in the body that keep it functioning normally.
Which Means...

If you are smoking, you are not ONLY harming yourself but also everyone around you who inhales it !!

STATISTICS OF CIGARETTE SMOKING:

If you Are Wondering that tobacco smoking is NOT a big deal....you must know that !...

According to WHO (World Health Organization), tobacco use is currently responsible for the death of one in ten adults worldwide (about 5 million deaths each year)....which makes Smoking, one of the leading causes of preventable death throughout the World !!

EFFECTS OF CIGARETTE SMOKING ON OUR BODY:

The chemicals in Cigarette can permanently damage your heart and blood vessels which can lead to cardiovascular diseases (CVD).

CVD is a generic term referring to multiple conditions affecting the heart or blood vessels which includes:

coronary heart disease

hypertension (high blood pressure)

heart attack

stroke

aneurysms

peripheral artery disease

Other rare but serious cardiovascular conditions caused by smoking include:

Peripheral Artery Disease (and peripheral vascular disease)

Does Smoking ONLY Effects Our HEART?

Apart from Cardiovascular diseases, Cigarette smoking is also the MAJOR cause of majority of cancers in our body.

Cigarette smoke can also cause CVD by causing a disease called atherosclerosis in which the cholesterol and other material deposits on the walls of arteries which are the the major blood vessels that carry blood from your heart to your body.

This cholesterol deposition reduces the arterial cavity size causing more difficulty for blood cells to pass through them.

These cholesterol deposits can even break n block major vessels causing damage to the respective organ which it supplies,resulting in heart attack,stroke,kidney damage etc.

How Can You Protect Your Heart?

The best way to safeguard your heart is to simply never smoke cigarettes, besides ONE must always know how to SAY NO! to cigarettes or any harmful thing when suggested or offered.

Quitting smoking benefits your heart and cardiovascular system now and in the future:

1.Twenty minutes after you quit smoking, your heart rate drops

2.Just 12 hours after quitting smoking, the carbon monoxide level in the blood drops to normal, allowing more oxygen to vital organs like your heart.

3.Within four years of quitting, your risk of stroke drops to that of lifetime nonsmokers.

I didn’t read any of that, but i’d just like to say that if you smoke a blunt, you’re superior.
Then I humbly suggest u to read the article first...it's alright if u don't agree after reading this...one thing is that we take 'good health' for granted..If v precisely knew how it's gonna get effected by smoking or other harmful habits..We might actually quit somethings even if they wud mk us look cool or superior.

Indeed, people with a strong personality look very cool when they smoke, like Chaudhry M. Afzal Khan for example. Totally love that guy's posture. Injurious health effects of cigarettes are right in their own, but the thing about looking cool is totally different from that, it wasn't a stupid comment. :)

Indeed, smoking is harmful to health, it's not addictive but, it's quite hard to quit.
U r wc...jazakallah 4 reading n it wud b even better if u spread it for the good of people n let it b a source of sawab fr us...cigarettes contain nicotine, which is highly addictive.Even if you want to quit smoking, you may find it difficult because you're addicted to the effects of nicotine.
